The best options for flights: Save big money and tailor your trip by choosing the airfares and hotel rooms you want. The biggest travel price-comparison market is for flights. Go to www.cheapflights.co.uk and enter a destination to see scheduled flights from hundreds of airlines. For flights within six weeks, click Last Minute. Check online travel agencies such as, www.lastminute.com and www.expedia.co.uk for exclusive deals with airlines. At Expedia, click on the Flights tab on the home page, enter dates and destination and look for the Expedia special fare tag in the results list. Virgin Atlantic's best fares are snapped up through its own newsletter, which reveals one-day seat sales, Megasaver deals and gift offers. Sign up free at www.virgin-atlantic.com. Low cost airlines www.ryanair.com, www.easyjet.com and www.flybmi.com also list cut price web fares in their newsletters. It includes no frills airlines and regular scheduled services and most major charter operators. It seems to list more flights than any other site on the internet. You can click through to airlines own website to book tickets. www.travelsupermarket.co.uk – A good one stop shop for flights, hotels, car hire and travel insurance with a newsletter for fare alerts. Both Schedule and Charter: www.travelzoo.co.uk Cherry-picks the best of the bargains online. You can sign up for weekly e-mails of top 20 deals. www.dohop.com Comparison site that includes major airlines, their prices and destinations around the world. www.ufly4less.com The site scours the websites of 13 of the most popular low-cost airlines to find the cheapest deal, whenever it is. Searches are in real time. www.skyscanner.net Searches Europe's budget airlines for the best deals and times to travel on any route.
